Wikimetal Recommends highlights The Velvicks , who released their newest single, "ChaChaCha," via ForMusic Records . It's the group's second track released this year, following "LA." The band is made up of Brazilians who now live in New York.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Victor Nader explained: “This song tells the story of a troubled young woman who runs away from her responsibilities in Mexico City in search of a fresh start, only to discover that you can never escape yourself. 'Wherever you go, you're there.' She creates a whole new set of problems on the other side of the border.”

Featuring Victor's intense vocals, the track is influenced by Foo Fighters, Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age , and The Black Keys . Listen to "ChaChaCha" below.
